I selected CEB’s 720p BluRay release for this series. This release uses Sudo’s translation, with corrections for terminology based on the R1 subtitles.

Download the patch, unzip it to the directory with the original mkv files, read the readme, then run the bat file. Alternatively,  download the updated subs and mux them into the mkvs yourself with mkvmerge. Note that using the second method may give inconsistent file hashes for the updated files.

Change list:

• Episodes 7-8, 12, 14-16, 18, 22-23, 26 – Replaced original subtitles with v2 .ass files available at the BSS subtitle repository.
• Episodes 8-21, 24 – Applied {an8} tags to reposition the last line of the subs for the next episode preview, since it was in the same place as the episode title translation.
• Episode 11 – Re-timed the start of a line that started several seconds too early, during a previous line by the same character: Tell me everything you know. (09:08.60 –> 09:13.08)
• Episode 19 – Removed the word “no” from a line, since it did not make sense in the context: She was caught, no thanks to you. (21:57.58,22:01.79)
• Episode 22 – Replaced “amount” with “number” due to improper usage: I’ve finally gathered the necessary amount of dolls. (19:59.43,0:20:03.21)
• Episode 24 – Re-timed the end of the second to last line in the next episode preview so it would not overlap with the episode title: All they do is make rational judgments. (24:05.46 –> 24:04.46)

For this movie, I selected THORAnime’s 1080p BluRay release. I chose this over niizk’s bluray simply because I already had THORA’s release (it was released a while before) and the file size is a good deal smaller. From what I have seen, both releases are visually stunning, so you may want to check out niizk’s release too anyway. THORA’s translation came 95% from Sugoi Hikouki’s tranlation. The translation used in niizk’s release is from the R1 DVD.

When watching anime and television, listening to music, or playing games, some of us would like perfection in our entertainment. While finding 100% perfection in anything is rare (arguably impossible), we still would like the highest quality possible. Some releases of an anime series (or movie) are very high quality; they surpass the quality of most other releases for the same anime, with only a few other releases even on same tier as them. However, like anything else, these releases can be flawed. In fact, due to the high quality of the rest of the release, the flaws that do exist can become all the more apparent. That is why I want to fix these flaws: to bring these anime releases one step closer to the desired level of perfection.

I originally made the edits for these releases for my own personal collection, however just in case anyone else wants to grab any of them (and to help myself keep better track of them) I decided I would post them here. I’ll probably post the updated sub files if you want to mux them in yourself, along with an xdelta patch that you can use instead to easy-update the file (and then you can even compare the file hash with mine to make sure it’s right!). I will not be posting the original file here, although I will link to the page for the original release when available, and any other pages I deem relevant.

As a request to anyone who actually does use the fixes I post here, if you notice any remaining errors I didn’t fix in a release I post here (or any errors I introduce with my “fixes”) please let me know about them by posting comments! Any feedback to help with existing and future releases would be greatly appreciated.

tl;dr – I am a totally over obsessed jack-tard who should just leave his anime releases as they are instead of fucking with them when I see something I don’t like.
